On January 21, 2025, during its 7th annual Thankathon, the entire CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation team put everything on hold, picked up the phone and spent the day saying heartfelt thank-yous to its donor community.

For the team at the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation, the start of the new year is a time of gratitude. Taking place right after the holidays, our Thankathon is an event dedicated to thanking our incredible donor community.
This year, we reached an extraordinary 8,363 of you.
Now that the Grow Beyond campaign is well underway, our donors are rallying around a common goal: to give Sainte-Justine’s care and research teams the means to make their ambitions a reality. It’s thanks to kind-hearted people like you that they are reaching new heights. With your support, they are improving the care options available to mothers and children today, as well as harnessing the unprecedented potential of modern science to help the patients of tomorrow.
The medical revolution is already underway. Together, let’s give every child the chance to grow up healthy.

One family, three times the gratitude
Sainte-Justine is a key part of the Cloutier-Gosselin family’s story. While studying premature babies at the Centre de recherche Azrieli du CHU Sainte-Justine, Anik had her daughter, Alice, who was herself born preterm. Six years later, it would be Anik’s youngest child’s turn to be treated at Sainte-Justine: At two and a half years old, Charlotte was diagnosed with flesh-eating bacteria. Today, because of benevolent donors like you, both girls are healthy, and their mom continues her work at the research centre. Thank you for growing beyond for and with families like theirs.
